Easy and Creative Halloween Costume Ideas

As it rapidly approaches, Halloween costumes can be harder to find. Also, they are priced on the higher side. In high school, you need a costume for one day for extra credit. These are 15 costumes that you can build with basic articles of clothing that are found in almost everyone's closet.

#1 Lilo from Lilo and Stitch

  

A Lilo costume can be made from a red tube top, a Hawaiian skirt, and a cute pair of sandals. If you want you can curl your hair and give yourself beach waves to emphasize the idea of living in Hawaii. Also, a Stitch stuffed animal would be cute to carry around as well.

#2 Nani from Lilo and Stitches

 

Nani has jean shorts and a yellow crop top. To add to the costume you can add a pink heart on the crop top. For shoes, you can wear combat boots or Timberlands. 

#3 Brittany Spears from Baby One More Time

This costume consists of pigtails with pink fluffy ties, a white button-down shirt tied up, a gray cardigan, a black skirt, long black socks, and black heels. 

#4 Rosie the Riveter

 

Rosie needs jeans, a jean shirt, and a red bandana. For shoes, you can have any boots, but combat boots look better. Also to add you can wear a bold red lip. 

#5 Boo from Monsters Inc. 

Boo has pigtails, a large pink shirt, and light purple cropped leggings. You can wear white socks and any pair of white shoes that you have. 

#6 Regina George with boob holes

You need a white tank top and a purple tank top. Layer the white tank top over the purple one, but the white one must have two holes where your boobs are. Then have a black skirt and black heels. 

#7 Frat Boys

You can wear colored shorts, a button-down shirt, tall socks, and Sperry's. To add you can wear a baseball cap backward and/or sunglasses. 

#8 Boxers

Wear your hair in boxer braids and wrap your hands in medical tape. Then combine it with a sports bra, spandex, and a boxer jacket. For shoes wear running sneakers. 

#9 Holes Characters

Write one of the character's names on a gallon. Use string to tie the gallon to your orange jumpsuit. Tie the top of the jumpsuit around the waist and wear a white tank top. Wear sneakers or boots. 

#10 Damien from Mean Girls

Wear a blue sweatshirt, tie the hood so only your face is showing, then put on sunglasses. Also tape a piece of paper saying, “She doesn't even go here” on the sweatshirt. Then you can wear whatever pants and shoes you want. 

#11 Regina’s Mother from Mean Girls

Regina’s mom is dressed in a pink tracksuit, heels, and of course a video camera. 

#12 Where’s Waldo 

You need a red and white striped shirt, jean shorts, a red and white striped hat, a thick black glasses, and sneakers or boots. 

#13 Cowgirl

You need a plaid shirt, jeans or jean shorts, a cowgirl hat, and cowboy boots. 

#14 Powderpuff Girls

My favorite version is t-shirt dresses with black belts, tall white socks, and white sneakers. For Bubbles put your hair in pigtails. For Blossom put hair half up in a big pink bow and for Buttercup curl your hair. 

#15 River Vixens

For River Vixens you need shorts, the yellow and white shirt worn in Riverdale, and sneakers with white long socks.
